These are our picks for black cards in TLA that we believe will see play in standard.
Strong selective board wipe that gets around indestructible creatures.
Lack of exile effects have been a problem since rotation this is a sorcery which will hurt it's playability along with the 3 or greater.
Instant destory for two mana in black has always been a sweet spot... removing counters can be very useful as well it's a reprint but a solid player
Black sacrifice got a lot of tools in this set... if it becomes a viable meta deck then Joo Dee will be a player.
Menance for two mana and a punishing effect for noncreature spells this is great.. just wish it was not legendary.
This is a sleeper hit. Gives you card draw and counters plus has works with sacrafice decks.
Sacrafice decks with this will get very mean.. creating a 4/4 creature every turn with Crew 1 is nuts.
Six mana is tough but a board wipe, four card exile that becomes a 5/5 menance with firebending is really solid.
Return to hand or reanimate that is an instant solid card.
There are a handful of great cards in white that mostly enable sacrafice strategies or sideboard cards.
